IMPORTANT NOTICE OF SPAM SITES REMOVED- DomainManager.com
Our Colocation provider DISCONNECTED one of our servers as they said DomainManager was associated with a spam site. After much investigation, we located 3 domains on our system and have removed these domains. With the disconnection of the server, stats were affected and Sept 5th may not show complete stats. Any domains that, in our sole opinion, are deemed to be associated with the sending, endorsement, promotion or education of spam/bulk-email will result in immediate disabling of the domains, and may also result in any associated domains in the same or associated accounts also being disabled. We also reserve the right to publicly display any and all information we can gather on these types of sites.

WHAT'S NEW:
Moved up from the "What's Coming" section. Hopefully it works! j/k.
- Feb 24 2007 - Dave Marshall asked if we would add a feature to the Custom HTML where you can just put pointy brackets around the word "domain" within the custom html text and our server will replace that with the domain name when serving up the webpage. I think he got the idea from how we insert the domain name into the Preset URLs. Here's an example. I've put < and > around the word: domain and since this page that you are reading is done in Custom HTML you should see domainmanager dot com here.....drumroll please.......:
I would assume this would be used where you have the same html for various domains but you just want to copy/paste the html into the Custom HTML of each domains' settings. Less than 18 hours from request to implementation. Seems to work great.
- Feb 07 - Monte of saagervision.com asked if we'd add PTR Records. I can count on one mouse the number of times we've been asked this (and my mouse only has two buttons), but thought -- what the heck. So it's been added under "DNS Management" in the pull down where you can set NS, A, CNAME and now PTR. If you don't know what it is, you most definitely don't need it.
- June 06 - systemwide subdomains - these are for Advanced Users but are defined systemwide. They allow you to more tightly integrate your domains with PPC Aggregators like Hitfarm.com and SearchCash.com. Other PPC Aggregators can be added upon request. If you don't know what this is talking about, no worries, it won't affect the performance of your domain.
- May 06 - Search for domains - that start with, or that contain, or go directly to a domain.
- March 29/06 - Traffic Splitting. Would you like to compare PPC providers in REAL TIME? The problem right now is that you send a domain's traffic to one PPC Provider for a week (or a day, or a month), and then to another PPC Provider. But it's not really apples to apples is it? What if it was Sweeps week on TV, or a holiday, or it was sunny on one day and raining the next? Wouldn't it be better to send visitors to different PPC providers as they came in? So visitor 1 goes to PPC A, and visitor 2 goes to PPC B, visitor 3 goes to PPC A, etc. Cookie session is set to the browser so if the visitor reloads they'll see the same page. If they close the browser and then visit again, and if there's not been another visitor, they should see the second URL page. Been procrastinating on this since talking about it at the T.R.A.F.F.I.C. Conference in Florida but it's finally ready! Split traffic between two Preset URLs and/or Manually entered URLs. Information is power. Power is money. Money is .. anyway - I digress...
- March 28/06 - tree listing - If you've got a long list of domains, it gets to be a pain. We've be put in a collapsing tree listing that makes it easy on the eyes. You can now view domains in the Domain List by Group and Category.
- Mar 19/06 - CNAME - You can now specify a CNAME in the Service field when you select "IP Pointing/A Record/CNAME" as the service for your domain. Previously, you'd need to go to DNS Management or Advanced DNS in order to create a CNAME. So now if you want a CNAME, select "IP Pointing/A Record/CNAME" in the pull-down menu and just put in a hostname and we'll see that it's not an IP and we'll make it a CNAME instead of an IP/A Record.
- Mar 17/06 - HitFarm friendly. Changed all domains that had an A Record to HitFarm's IP to now be a CNAME to HitFarm's cname as requested by Hitfarm in their Notice to Customers a few weeks ago.
- Mar 15/06 - Bulk Delete. Added a bulk delete feature so you can clear out old domains. It's under Bulk Tools > Mass Delete.
- Mar 13/06 - Categorization - I like having domains in Groups since it allows all the domains to have the same settings, but if you have a lot of domains with different settings that you'd like to see 'grouped' together (either for listing in your Domain List, or for when viewing stats), so we made a Category field. You can set it under Domain > Domains Category.
- Mar 9/06 - Fast Sign Up. Sign up is still free, we just made the form really, really short and put it on the main page. There's still a link to the full sign up form, and you'll still need to eventually give us all the info, but this makes it pretty darn fast to sign up and get going.
- Mar 8/06 - Group Management - we used to allow you to put domains into a group, then "apply settings to all domains in this group". But then you could go and modify an individual domain inside the Group. So we changed it such that all domains in a Group MUST have the same settings. So, if you have domains in a Group where some of the domains aren't the set to the same settings:
1) Log in and go into Group Up Domains and move some domains out of the Group(s) into "Non-Grouped" domains
or
2) go into Group Management and set all the domains to have the same settings
- Mar 3/06 - Preset URLs - if you own a lot of domains, do you set your domains to Forward to a small set of URLs? Most domainers do, so to save you typing in the same URL all the time, and to make future changes easier, we've created "Preset URLs". Define (and name) your Preset URL, then when you are setting up your domains, you have a choice of manually entering a URL, or selecting from one of your Preset URLs. When defining your Preset URL(s), you can put in a field holder for the domain name and it will be replaced with the domain name. So for exampledomain.com using
http://landing.domainsponsor.com/?a_id=7777&adultfilter=on&domainname={domain} will set the domain to go to:
http://landing.domainsponsor.com/?a_id=7777&adultfilter=on&domainname=exampledomain.com
- Feb 26/06 - Redirection used to be listed in the Service pulldown list as "Framed Redirection" and "Unframed Redirection". Now it's just "Redirection" and there's check boxes for whether you want your Redirection to be Framed or Unframed. If you have Unframed selected you won't be able to edit the MetaTile, MetaDescription or MetaKeyword fields, though you will be able to see them.
- Feb 28/06 - We had a problem with 4th level domains being set up in the Advanced DNS. Bug fixed. Thx to Chad for pointing that out.
WHAT'S COMING:
At DomainManager.com we eat our own dogfood. Meaning that we use DM to manage our own domains. So the features we build are what we'd like to see/use ourselves. If you have some suggestions on features, page layout, page flow, interface comments, etc, please send them to us. In the meantime, here's what's new and what's coming:
- Coming Soon - Managed Traffic Splitting - For "Pro" accounts only - this is a solution for Domainers who own thousands of domain names and are looking to optimize their revenue. We will provide a fully managed solution where we test and optimize your domains across upto 10 PPC Providers using your own account at those PPC Providers. The stress on using your own account is for transparency. Rates start as low as 10% (of entire portfolio) and you only pay after we've increased your portfolio PPC revenue. Expect to see a 20% to 40% rise in your monthly revenue. This is a fully managed service.
- Coming Soon - bulk modify tools - Modify a list of domains for certain fields. Example - you have 15 domains all going to different URLs but you want them all to have the same Meta Title tag. Plug in the list of domains, say that you want to only change the Title tag and hit submit.
- Coming soon - Donations - Notice there's no pop-up ads, no framed ads. So for 3 years we've been operating at a substantial loss. I think it's time to ask for donations, and I hope you agree!
- What do you want to see? Email us at admin at domainmanager.com and if it's a good suggestion, we'll put it on our To Do list. If it's a great suggestion, we'll do it right away - lol.

TESTIMONIALS
"I am loving the recent changes to DM. Much more user friendly and easier to navigate. Nice work and much appreciated." - Scott C.
"Thanks for the GREAT work and feedback!" - Steve S.
"I'm moving all my domains from Mydomain to DomainManager, because I'm tired of Mydomain's popups and update times, but really man, YOUR service has everything I need, and E-mail forwarding too!!. Another great advantage: no popups or ads in Framed Redirection. The web interface is easy to manage too, and I think this is enough and very important even for non-experienced users."
